To all our loving Friends and Family,

On Wednesday June 11th at 11:47pm our beloved Michael passed on surrounded by loving thoughts and prayers. We remained very close to him all day, preparing ourselves for the next step in this very difficult and transforming journey. Michael was visited today by an amazing Chaplin named Stephen who blessed him with the most amazing and comforting words. A Buddhist monk from a nearby monastery also came to say a few prayers. My father would have also liked a rabbi, priest, shamin and harikrishna but we were a little short on time. My father was, in the words of Bill Love, a Buddhatarian. Even though our hearts were breaking, we were able to clear our minds of tearful thoughts and give my father a passing ceremony that he would have been proud of.

We love you all and will keep you posted on the "Celebration of Life" party that my father always wanted if he ever passed. Thank you again for everything from everyone. Words cannot express our gratitude and heartwarming love that we share for you all.

I didn't know Mike. But I was very moved when I heard, via Liz's updates in this forum, of his sudden illness. He was in my prayers. God bless his loved ones at this very difficult time. Best wishes from the north coast of Ireland.

We met Mike at Paradise Gardens just 3 weeks before his stroke. We enjoyed talking to him and were looking forward to talking to him again. We are sad that we will not have that opportunity. Blessings to you and all of Mike's family.

To all our dear friends and family,

We can't thank everyone enough for all your comforting words. Michael's "Celebration of Life" party will be held at the home of Carl and Jody Calendar...5 Ferry Rd., Moultonboro, NH at 6pm with a spectacular firework show at 9pm as Michael would have wanted it. Rain date will be the following day, Sunday July 13th. Many thanks to Carl and Jody for allowing this celebration to take place at their home.

Sarah H. has just arrived with us and we would like to give her and all of the other people big thanks who helped to make the fundraiser at The North End possible and a great success.

As mentioned before Michael and I spent most of our time in Panama volunteering at Paradise Gardens, a breathtaking and amazing sanctuary for native rescued animals. Not only was this a sanctuary for animals, but one where Michael felt peace and solice. Paul and Jenny Saben, the primary caretakers have dedicated their lives to this cause and funding comes solely from donations. Our family thought it would be fitting for any person who wishes to make a donation in lieu of flowers could do so to the "Paradise Gardens Fund" which is set up through Meredith Village Savings Bank. Your donation will go directly to a new children's education building and program that will be named "The Mike Love Learning Center" in honor of Michael.
