This site has a lot of different tools, the forum, blogs, photos, videos, internal email etc. It sometimes confuses people because there are so many things you can do here.
I have noticed and Google Stats confirm, most people read the forum, thousands of times in a week. Few people read the blogs, they are more personal.
If you have something you want the world to see and want feedback post in the forum. If it something you want to maintain as a personal blog which you can edit and control, use your blog. I have noticed people making requests in their blog, few people will respond because they don't look that low on the page.
Use the forum if you want feedback

Hello Lee,
A new user here, last-minute sign-up on this wonderful site! Arriving in Panama on Sunday, Feb 2, 2014 for a 10-day visit. I am eager to explore Boquete, meet new friends and learn about the area, possibly look for seasonal expat living situation, rental, home, etc.
Am I missing something about how/where to post on this site?
Thanks!
Dean
Why don't you make a brand new post instead of putting it at the end of a topic that already has 111 replies? Then people can reply just to you. To post, click on Forum tab. On the right is a button +Add. Click on that, and the posting screen will come up.
Trying to find out about Valle Escondito, we have reservations there for the end of Jan. but have been unable to contact anyone either thru email or phone. Trying to confirm and expand our current reservation. It's like no one is there to answer phone or email not matter the time of day I try. Anyone have ideas?
Fred, I suggest you post your question as a new post. It will get more attention than tacking it onto this old thread.
Go to the Forum tab and click on +Add near the top right. That will open the screen to create a post.
thanks new here :)
Has anyone used solar panels for electric power i.e. not as an alternative power source for electric bikes. Can they be purchased in Panama or should we bring them from Canada. Also are the electric bikes/scooters available in Panama or should we bring them from Canada.
solar panel for warm water with a 80 gallons tank. Most simple roofing systems will not support the weight. But if you build a roof with proper strong wooden rafters, wooden panels, isolation material and metal or composite tile sheet it will work very fine. Simple metal roofing in Panama make you home boiling hot.
If you want to generate your own electricity or at least a reasonable amount, install a Windspire turbine.
Look at Youtube.
Thank you for all the great information here. We are coming for a visit in January and have been reseraching countries for six months. This site has been very helpful. So, thanks!

I attempted to utilize the search function here on Boquete.ning, but I'm unable to find any "suggestions for nude users".
Your avatar. Is that Obama dressed as a Panamanian?
