I think this has been covered before, but I wonder if there are any changes. If a person reached 65 and started paying Medicare Part A in March last year, do we have to pay for ACA. We have lived here full time since 2013. We just received a Form 1095-B.
We think we are exempt, but I have looked on the government websites and they may as well have been written in Chinese.

You do not pay for Medicare Part A. It is free and automatic. You only pay for Part B (and D if you got it). Part A qualifies you for coverage under ACA. If you have that, you don't have to do anything else.

Oops, I meant we pay for Part B. But the Medicare only kicked in in March. I wondered about January and February.
You are correct, but you must reside outside the US for a minimum of 330 calendar days.
