Tonight we decided to check out Montana's restaurant at the location of the old Las Ruinas, across the highway from Brisas Boquetena.
This is not a full restaurant review but just a report that we went. The menu offered several styles of pasta, hot dogs, two kinds of hamburgers and various meat dishes. Interestingly, the only beverages they offer are beer and water. Beer is only a dollar.
I had pasta carbonada, and Brandy had a hamburger. She said the hamburger was excellent, with good texture, flavor and seasoning. The pasta I had was well presented and had lots of tasty mushrooms. The bacon flavor was elusive, though there really was bacon in the pasta.
The portions were ample, and you will need a big appetite or a take-out box.

Do they do lunch?
Maybe 25 cars there around 9:30 Saturday evening.
I expect that was from the Orchid fair. The Boquete streets were hopping last night.
The burger looks tasty but why would they serve it on a wooden platter made to hold a sizzling cast iron steak plate? AT least they gave you a plate for the pasta. ;-)
Lucero served my burger on a wooden platter just like this one.
Thanks for reviewing Montana's. I've driven by and was curious. Sounds like a great place to try.
