Has anyone heard of what to do with worn fingerprints for residency application? For US you need identity summery, for Panama how do you verify your id if your finger prints are unreadable? I don't know if this is common but i would think somebody has had to go through it sometime. My mother is 83 and we have tried many times. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A lot of places only do employment checks, so check 1st.
One suggestion I've heard is drink a couple gallons of water before getting finger printed and coat your hands liberally with hand lotion.
And, of course, you have to go to the place with the most high tech finger print equipment.
A couple of gallons? Sure, just try it ... any time now. lol
Isn't it ironic that by age 83 you have wrinkles everywhere, but on your fingertips they disappear? This is not an unusual problem. They want them when you go through immigration at Tocumen too. Ask on Chiriqui Life. One of the owners of that site has that problem, so might have a solution.
thanks I will give it a try Judy
