HELP !!!
BCP has a Texas Instruments In Focus projector which we use for most of the Tuesday talks for power point presentations.
It has recently started shutting down after about 8 minutes of use. It appears that it is overheating because if left to stand for 5 minutes or so it can be restarted for another short time.
Is there any technical guy or gal out there who would volunteer their time to help trouble shoot this thing.
We don't even know where to buy a new one (if a new one is needed)

Remove the filter. Clean and replace. It's over heating more than likely. It shuts off auto to keep from blowing the $500 bulb. Just a hunch. Most all projectors have that feature.
I worked for an IT department on a college campus. We had over 300 of these for smart class rooms. And, if you can get one side of the cover off you can blow it out with canned air. It's not complicated to clean the filter. Usually a small snap on cover and a filter (possible two filters in two different locations). You can wash it with water and dry it also. Usually air is the best for cleaning.
Google---- Texas Instruments In Focus Projector. All of the user manuals are there in PDF files and easy to read. Just pick your model and look for filter cleaning. I just looked at them but I don't know the model.
where to buy one click this and it will take you to Amazon offerings if you need a new/used one.
