Where do you purchase bus tickets from?I wish to travel from Boquete to Panama City.As I understand, the bus from Boquete will take me to David where I change and get a bus direct to PC.Can tickets, for both legs of the journey, be purchased in advance, if so, where does one purchase the tickets?

Yes, the midnight express bus is very good, but the AC can be quite fierce, so take and extra jacket or something to keep you warm!

You have to buy the regular bus tickets the day you travel, but for the express bus, you may be Abe to buy it 1-2 days in advance, this changes regularly.  I recommend the express, leaves around 10-11pm, stops once midway, arrives around 6-7, very comfy.

Can I purchase tickets in advance or do I just chance it that the buses won't be full?

You have to buy your ticket at the bus terminal in David.

When the local bus pulls into the terminal the first building/office on your right. the bus will go down the hill stop a put you out. walk back up the hill behind the bus to the top of the hill. office is on the left. the panama buses run all day and the last one leaves around 11-12pm. the last one is called the express bus.
