Many of you may know Terry and Maryann Trumbull who have made David their home for the last 6 years. Nine weeks ago Maryann underwent major back surgery. A short time ago Terry was admitted to Hospital Chiriqui to find out that he has a tumor in his lung. He now faces surgery to remove part or all of the lung. In Terry's own words."I will be making large payments to the hospital for the next thirteen months ($8,700) for Maryann and making large payments to repay our personal friends who loaned us ($5,000) money for the next year. Now I have just finished a week in the hospital because I was septic and my major organs were beginning to shut down. Extensive searching has found a tumor in my lower esophagus /upper lung area. We have had to start additional large hospital payments to pay for the week of treatment and evaluation period which found the tumor ($5,900). We are currently awaiting biopsy results to see if the tumor is cancerous or not, before scheduling surgery for its removal as soon as possible, which will likely cost $15,000."
Since that posting he found out that he must have the surgery but the hospital wants the money upfront and he doesn't have it.
Terry has started a "Fund Me Site" hoping that the generous people of Chiriqui will find it in their hearts to donate what they can to help him. The doctors want him to have the surgery within 30 days. Please help out if you can. The link to the funding site and more of his story are at: http://www.gofundme.com/n1z0p8

Not saying you still won't need donations because you will still need medications and perhaps a private nurse when you get out or a caretaker for awhile. I am so sorry you are going thru this and hospital chiriqui is quite expensive...
This fund is up to $1000. Much more is needed.
