Change in Library Policy

We're trying to get the word out about the following change in library policy:

The lending period of books is now 16 days

The fine for returning a book late is 25 cents/day

If you haven't come in to see the new building, we'd love to see you!  There are over 10,000 books in the collection, with 70% of them in Spanish and 30% in English.  We have nice collections of fiction, non-fiction, young adult and children's books.  Library cards are free to all Boquete residents.

Wonderful. Makes a lot of sense. My Panamanian neighbors had stopped using the library because of the excessively burdensome fines and the very short period to keep books out.
