A female Chiriqui Judge left her house yesterday for a few hours to return to a broken into home, they took jewelry, computers, ipod, a digital camera.
She proceeded to call Police and make a report and an investigation in underway.... goes to show, not only expats are targeted in their homes... she is a judge and Panamanian

I cannot stress enough the need for extra security in our homes, be it iron bars, alarms, or just plain out taking valuables out of our homes. I get it it's a pain to use safe deposit boxes in banks for our jewelry and cash, but we only use so much of it, perhaps keep the most expensive away and only have the simple stuff at home. Same goes with cash, keep minimum and stay away from use home safes, as people expect us to have them and think that's where they hit the jackpot.
Computers, digital cams, iPods, OK nothing we can do about that. At least she was lucky enough not to be home!

The name was not mentioned in the article. I personally do not know any female judges, only 1 male judge
Actually the headline stated in English:
"A Prosecutor in the Chiriqui MP was the victim of theft"
The article says nothing about a Judge (el/la juez)

Fiscal is like a judge, not like in the US a prosecutor
Hummmmm. No. It is like a prosecutor.
Do the same work of investigations and presenting a case against a person in front of the judge and juries
Thanks for the clarification. It thought it was like a U.S. Prosecutor.

Is this judge anyone we know?
