Rescued male, about 8 months old, neutered. He is well behaved and plays with other dogs. He needs a home, or has to be put back on the streets. He is a sweet guy, loves dogs, cats and kids.

Hi, Susan and Pat, Thanks for taking interest in this guy. Actually, Chombito has been staying with us since he was neutered on the 12th. We can't adopt him, but we are doing what we can to see that he will be, with the help of kind people like you. Let me tell you some things that will make him better known to prospective adopters:
He is in excellent health said the vet who neutered him. He is flea- and tick-free. He is house broken and is now learning to walk on a leash and to not jump on folks when they greet him. He has filled out these past two weeks and is certainly motivated by food, though he won't beg at the table. Chombito is high-energy and a great watch dog; he has become so protective of us and our property that he was rather rude to a couple who came to look at him last week (unannounced because they couldn't reach us on our crazy phone).
To everyone who plans to attend TMM this week: Come by and meet this sweet dog, and his darling sidekick Lulu, whom we are also fostering after she was spayed two weeks ago. Thanks!
I'm so glad to hear that Sue. I thought he was in a cage. I need your email and phone number to post on his listing on Pets Want Homes. You can send it to me by private message.
Adorable dog...please do not put him on the streets. Possibly we could foster him until someone adopts him.
Please email Marion and talk to her about it. That would be great if you could provide a foster home. PeeTee also needs a foster home or better yet, a permanent home.
This discussion is still about a dog that needs a home, and his name or what it means is still irrelevant. It wouldn't matter if it was Moonbeam or Dweezil. Other questions such as Weight? Height? Vaccinations? House-trained? Leash-trained? Injuries or conditions? are far more pertinent.
Can we stop all of this politically correct nonsense? My neighbor's black dog is named Chomba. A lot of dogs here are named Chomba. It's a popular name. There is a shop in town called Bichito. When I see that I think the shop is called Little Bitch, though I know that's not what it means. Seems every name is going to get somebody in a snit.
Now I declare - his name should be Tom.
Than the lady put him back on the street, called me that she cannot take care of him anymore. She told me from the beginning she cannot take him very long - just not a dog lover. He got neutered right here in Potrerillo by Dr. Sandy. And now we have no place for him.
And I do not understand why a name of a dog has any importance. Whoever will have the love, the kindness - simply a good heart - to give him a home, can give him another name.
