And the Knitters of Boquete get to be both givers and receivers!

We are taking 5 (FIVE) 13-gallon bags of knitted items to the Centro de Salud next to Romero to entrust to the staff there. They will be distributing those items to their Ngabe-Bugle clients. All at no charge.

Then we will be placing well-considered yarn orders to replenish our supplies of yarns with which to knit even more baby blankets, caps, sweaters and booties.

And, as always, a pound or so of yarn, tucked into your suitcase (acrylic, please, because it is so durable), and brought to Irene the Book Queen, or Brandy the Blood Pressure Princess, at the Tuesday meeting is gratefully accepted, too.

Well, the Health Center was having a bit of "reconstructive surgery" today, so we'll have to deliver on Tuesday. But we did order our yarn! And found even better bargains and, therefore, more yarn for our money!!!
