There is also an English speaking church in Plaza San Francisco -- it is not catholic though --

The church in San Francisco Plaza is a non-denominational multi-cultural bilingual Bible believing church. It is called Strong Tower Church and was established 5 years ago. Worship is sung in both Spanish and English and the sermon/teaching is given in English and translated into Spanish. Pastor Al is energetic and well trained. He is Asian and has family in Hawaii. His wife, who also ministers and leads worship is from this area. They and their children lived in Texas for 10 years before coming here. The church supports several out reaches including a jail ministry and the youth make up baskets of baby items for the new mothers at the hospital in David. The church is expecting 200 children at Vacation Bible School this summer. Service time for this month is 12:15 with plans to move it to an earlier time starting in November. There are adult Bible classes before the service and a Wednesday night service. This very friendly happy church is located on the second floor on the Scotia Bank side and tucked in the far corner. Also in the Plaza is Seventh Day Adventist Church.
The Catholic Church in town has a 9:00 a.m. Mass in English each Sunday. Another one to add to the list!

I don't believe there is a 9:00 am mass at the Catholic Church in town any longer-at least there was not this past Sunday-does anyone know if there is another?
It's always 85 or 90 in Panama City. If you wait for it to cool off, you'll never get here. I never heard of anybody not getting their animals into PC because of the temp. Check with Jose. I'm sure he will know if there would be a problem.
Bill and Kathy Lauer thank you very much for the information on the Garden Inn. I just looked at their website and it looks beautiful and relaxing.
We are looking forward to our visit hopefully in Jan. We haven't set the dates yet, still working that out. But if we are down there when you are, we would love to meet up.
Would you know how far in advance you need to make reservations at the Garden Inn?? Are they booked pretty solid?
Thank you for the infomation on the Church. We are looking forward to meeting new friends.

Does the Strong Tower Church still have services in the San Francisco Plaza on Sundays?
If so, at what time? Any info about a traditional type, English church, appreciated.
