I visited it last week and the first nine holes are complete and the course is in play. Next nine will be started in 2010 I believe.

Club house also still to be built.

how was it,what are the rates etc

The course was designed by a noted golf course designer. I am not a serious golfer but the course looked very challenging to me with all the bunkers and water hazards. The grass and greens were very lush.

Beautiful mountain and ocean views.

I believe they plan to charge non members $120 for eighteen holes once the course is completed. I don't lnow what they are charging currently for a nine hole course.

My name is Joerg Senne and I am the Director of Marketing for Gladstone Corporation, the developer of The Cielo Paraiso Golf Course. I am very grateful for your interest in our golf course and I would like to take this opportunity to answer a few of your questions.

Michael Poellot, the golf course architect, designed the Cielo Paraiso golf course to be challenging, yet fun for golfers of all abilities and handicaps. The first nine holes of this 18-hole championship golf course have now been opened for play and we intend to open the back nine by the second half of 2010.

We welcome all golfers and offer a “member for a day” programme that allows you to play 18 holes from Tuesday through Friday for US$ 60 per person, including the cart, US$ 70 per person on Saturdays and US$ 80 on Sundays. The course remains closed on Mondays for maintenance.

Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, groups of a minimum of 10 players, can play 18 holes for US$ 50 per person, including the cart and a light lunch. We also serve US$ 1 national beers both on the course and at the temporary clubhouse. Reservation for this special must be made in advance by Saturday before you intend to play. This is a great opportunity to get together with a group of friends for a great round of golf!

All tee times can be reserved by e-mailing us at proshop@cieloparaiso.com. If I can be of assistance to you, please do call me at 6679 1500 – I would be delighted to assist you!

Hey... I just came back to the country, I was living in the DR in Juan Dolio beside 2 Golf courses( Metro-Guabaverry) I will like to join people to play a 9 or 18 hole. My clubs are going to be shipped from the DR next month so I'm club-less for now... Can you rent clubs yet?

Please let me know...that $50 offer looks good.

Is there going to be a golf club membership available to the public i.e. like Biltmore or Doral? It would be better to have a 'country club' style membership rather that $120.00 x play. That is steep for Panama much less Boquete.

Hi Mr. Pretto:

Thank you for your interest and comments.

We do offer memberships at The Cielo Paraiso Golf Club to invited members. Until we open all 18 holes by the second half of 2010, the membership fee is US$ 30,000. We currently have only 2 invited memberships available, so if this is of interest to you, please do contact me at your earliest convenience.

You can also join us as a “member for a day”. This way you can play 18 holes from Tuesday through Friday for US$ 60 per person, including the cart, US$ 70 per person on Saturdays and US$ 80 on Sundays. The course remains closed on Mondays for maintenance.
