Martha Miranda's brother found this little girl in the trash last night. Of course he brought her home. Can.anyone foster her or help with canned kitten food or formula? She is very young (less than 2 months) and does not know how to eat well yet. Also need kitty litter. Please call Martha at 6326-7886.

Little Annie is only 4 weeks old. Surprisingly, she is healthy except for an eye infection which we will treat for the next week. She'll be up for adoption once she's able to eat and drink on her own.
I thought she looked a lot younger than two months. I guessed 5 weeks, but 4 is really young, too young to leave her mom and just at the beginning of sampling solid food. If you need kitten milk replacer for a few days (KMR at Melo or Mascotas), and they don't have it, the puppy version will be OK. She probably had litter mates. I wonder what happened to them? I think I found a formula for home-made KMR once. If you want it, I'll see if I can find it.
Awesome, you're the best Judy! Jim is on his way to Mascotas. I think I've seen it there but if not I'll touch base with you.
It makes me sad to think about the mother and litter mates :(
Found it! Document attached. The home-made recipes are at the end.
Super! Thanks.
We would if we knew their names. These people and the ones who abandoned the sweet dog at the Potrerillos gas station and drove away should be publicly shamed. Putting them in stocks in the park comes to mind. I wish we still had those.
Here's the dog, Duke. If anybody would like to adopt him, contact Marion. He is less than one year old, neutered, and loves to cuddle.
Lucky little sweet kitty - lucky that she was found and lucky that Jim and Judy are stepping up to take care of her!
Judy, We could possibly take her. We are caring for a pregnant 6 month old kitten that a jerk north American abandoned at the house next door. She is due any day and perhaps would be willing to mother this one. I'll have Jim call Martha.
That's a great idea Judi. The kitten would probably love the comfort of a mother. Thank you so much.
This is a beautiful potential end to a really pitiful story. You know I would take her if I could, but boy do they need real mothers at this stage!
