A flat envelope of 12 pieces of mail was signed for and delivered to the Miami address of E shop, received according to tracking number on June 15. Inside is some sensitive mail. Still do not have the package and here it is July 22! Is there anyone else out there with the same problem? I have emailed, called numerous times, visited, and as nice as they can be they never call or email me back with any information. I am tired of the chase and I realize they had a problem. Anyone else in this situation?

If customs are causing the delay, then just like any other country they will do what they feel they need to do in their time, no one will push them as pressure often works in a negative way with customs officials. The question should be how are some carriers able to get packages through rather than why are most not? Frustration and anger should be directed towards those individuals who have caused this by trying to bring in illicit materials this way, are they not the ones who are truly responsible? I wonder how many are sweating bullets right now?

I have receipts for 2 packages delivered Jan 4 and get nothing but lies.. Oh customs has them or
that girl does not work for us... I would never ever use their service again...Then they will not give you
the customs info or even want to keep their customers.... Since it was delivered to them and signed for
they should give the money back but of course here they do not think that way.... Use BOX SHOP in David
Only 2.50 a lb!!
We have a friend who still has 2 packages held up there since December , 2015. If you can believe it and they are giving them the same run around. As if the customer is not being patient.
I know the story, but we never are appraised of the situation by Eshop unless we go in or phone. That said, I did not know if I was the only one at this late date of July 22 without my shipment, or if there were more of you out there without their packages. Thanks.
According to Karinthia, Panama Customs decided to inspect every parcel that came in during the June 15 week. This seems to have been triggered by the recent discovery of some illegal imports (ivory, illegal drugs, firearms), causing the authorities to go with a full one-week inspection of everything. They have made a time-consuming inventory of everything in the process, to establish some kind of statistical baseline.
That inspection is now reportedly complete, and the held up shipments ready for release. eShop has at least a half-dozen bags of parcels in quarantine, but there are many more, with all of the operators in the same boat. They need a sign-off by one specific senior official, who has scheduled the signing session, but not shown up. The representatives of the various shipping services have spent entire days waiting for this official to appear at his/her desk. When that finally happens, the parcels will be released en masse, including eShop's.
Karinthia is as frustrated as we are.
I know all about why mail was held up for a week - Karanthia has informed everyone through her letter a couple of weeks ago. When I spoke with Kent on Monday (I think) he told me he'd whatsapp me but hasn't. He says still caught up in the customs and not released yet. Says maybe tomorrow. I keep calling or visiting and just wondered if there are still other people out there with undelivered packages. Usually Eshop is great, but I have reservations to order some things I need now and have it sent. As far as I know Fletes only delivers to Fletes offices within the country. Nothing overseas, just local.
I have been getting all of my packages quickly, but I didn't have anything delivered during that June 20 - 24 period when customs was opening everything. What do they tell you when you talk to them in person?
