We found Penteco finally. Great fabric selection, 4" foam for the cushions , will have zipper, be ready this Wed, $80 for two cushions. Am thrilled ,

If you find that the foam from upholstery shops and fabric shops is priced too high for your budget perhaps a 4" twin mattress would do. They are smaller than a U.S. Twin and sold in Boquete and David for about $100.

  Great idea on mattress. I found PENECO in David and bought a nice size roll of 1-1/2" foam for $20. And Sunbrella fabric is currently on sale at Selecta for a great price. It has been a succesful shopping week.

    Awesome price! Thanks for the info. I bought some outdoor furniture and MUST upgrade the cushions to make it comfortable.

      See the directions from Keith above. Go to the end of Obaldia, turn right when you see Nat Mendez Jewelers and it's right there. If you get to the block between Hotel Cuidad de David and the ivory shopping center you've gone a block too far. It's a one way street so you'll have to go all the way around again. The sign is up high and pretty small.

I believe the big Chino Ferreteria in Dolega has foam also.

Yes, I'm almost positive we got both foam rubber for a special orthopedic appliance as well as cushions made for our outdoor furniture there. If it's the same place they also do upholstery so have a variety of better-than-average fabrics. They did a very professional job and the cushions have lasted almost 10 years.

    The store referred to is called PENECO. Entering David follow Av. Obaldia until you have to turn right on Av. 3E and head towards Parque Cervantes and the city square. Ahead on your right is Nat Mendez Jewelers. Turn right onto Calle B and PENECO is on the left hand side.
