As most of you know, Dr Dru passed away very suddenly a week ago.
There has been a heartfelt outpouring of love and support for Dr Dru and his family. People have been asking where and how they can help his wife Wakana and their four year old daughter Gaia.
In the upcoming weeks, starting tomorrow, there will be a box at Piero’s Milky Way Creamery table at the Tuesday Market for donations. This money is to help Wakana and Gaia with their immediate needs.

My condolences to his family. Whenever i visited Boquete, the highlight of my visit was an adjustment at the Tuesday meeting from Dr Dru. He was a warm and careing man, who always had a smile and a story . He will be missed greatly. God Bless and rest his soul.

Always had a big smile, always he was humble and willing to give a big hug and share positive stuff. I am grateful that his little girl will be in very good hands and she will carry on with his legacy.

His wife "Wakana?"| Last I heard her name was Jasmine, and before that it was Holly Johnson. I can't keep up with all the name changes people who adopt after moving to Panama! Are they hiding from something, or just wanting a new "identity?" Whatever...it's often very confusing.
Claire, please don't be insensitive the woman just lost her husband and its no business of yours who she chooses to be or be called. I know she is not hiding or running and to imply so is rude.
Dr. Dru was a very special person. Wakana, my thoughts, my deep, deep condolences and my love are with you. I remember when Gaia was born, Dr. Dru was so proud and that beautiful baby looks just like her father. Although I no longer live in Panama I still feel the loss. He was such a lovely, lovely man.
Dr. Dru, was a wonderful person, he was an avid cyclist. He rode with us (cyclist group) and
he will be miss. Our heart goes out to lovely family.
