What is a good way to forward our mail to Boquete? (arriving in June from Colorado USA) General Delivery, Boquete, with the zipcode? Have heard this is not reliable. Suggestions?
You need to be a member of Boquete Ning to add comments!
What is the address for the hydro organica location please? And also techniserve? We are needing a Panama address to receive online prescriptions here in Boquete.
Thanks
If you have someone that can pick them up and then mail them for you that would work.

There are no house or street addresses here in Panama. Servitechnics has a location in Miami that your items get shipped to, then they forward them to the office in Boquete, where you pick them up. Cost is $4.75 per pound from Miami to Boquete. The address you use to send items to is:
Servitechnics/Your Name
7270 NW 35th Terrace
Miami, FL 33122
The Miami phone number is (305) 599-2703 and the local Boquete number is (507) 6671-2786
Don't forget to include your name on the first line of the address or they won't know whose package it is!
Thanks Sheila but I need a Panama address here in Boquete in order to get my Panamanian prescriptions mailed here. Big Mountain Pharmacy won't mail the panama an prescription to Miami and it takes so very long to get to Entrega General and also we end up taking the bus to David every time after we check the Boquete post for them so we think there must be a better way.

We have always had our prescriptions shipped via Mailboxes with no problems.
You can use the General Delivery Boquete (Entrega General, Boquete, Chiriqui, Republica de Panama)
for any mail being sent one-off to you. For example, a friend or relative wants to send you a letter.
It takes about 8-15 days to arrive. You must pick up any General Delivery mail by the 15th of the month, otherwise, they send it back.
Do not use General Delivery for anything other than letters, as it will entail a customs inspection and most likely get to David and no farther. I did actually receive a phone call from the David PO advising me of a package that had arrived and cleared customs inspection, but I believe that is a Once in a Lifetime experience.
For batches of a mail being sent once a month or so, I would use either Techniserve (sharing the Hydro Organica storefront next to CHOX) or eShop Boquete. For 1 lb of mail it will cost you about $7 mas o menos.
It also takes about 8-15 days, as they only send out the shipments once a week.
The advantage of using eShop and Techniserve is that there is some tracking. Arrival at their Miami location, and then when it was shipped to Boquete.

Thanks
Techniserve does not require an account.
You just use their Miami address with your name.
They are located on the side street along with Sr. Gyros and Chox. Techniserve shares the storefront with Hydro Organica.
Techniserve is a little cheaper than eShop, at least for the 1st lb or two. After that, I think they are both about the same.
