Hoping to move to Panama next year. Boquete is at the top of our list. Golfing in one of our favorite activies and Boquete is a lacking a little in golf courses. Any golfers in around Boquete?

The mountain course is a private development that was originally totally private...open to public play now and the cost is higher but playing there occasionally is rewarding with a great course experience unlike any other in Panama.
We are much the same as you and plan on a Feb, 2011, arrival in Boquete. There is a nine hole in town attached to a private community and a course up in the mountains outside of town that is growing to eighteen holes but is expensive by any standard. What we have been told is to expect to travel to golf courses (many between Panama and David/Boquete), stay and play and then move on. Make a long weekend out of it. We have not done this yet but will probably be trying this strategy when we get there.
