San Andrés was pretty cool and fun but I have not been there in many years. Colombia supports the island by making it duty free but there won't be any bargains compared to Panama prices. DeCameron took over all the small resorts (maybe six) and they give you a pass to use at any of them. Specialty is caracol or conch. "Pass the Dutchie from the left hand side" means the Dutch ovens from which women sell hot food on the street near the beach. Golf carts and bikes are popular as was Labatt's Blue, for some reason. A good swimmer can make it out to Johnny Cay in front of the beach. No idea about the quality of diving and snorkeling.
