Help wanted- Seeking casita rental December 2013 to April 2014

I'm looking for a rental that meets the following requirements:

Must be within walking distance (no more than about 10 minutes) from Boquete center

Private, off noisy roads where it's quiet

One bedroom or larger fully furnished with full kitchen, regular size fridge, stove, toaster, etc.

Hot water in both bathroom and kitchen

Firm mattress

Must have WiFi & TV

Secure & safe

Must be clean; rustic okay

My budget is negotiable

Possible repeated annual longer term rental if this is what I'm looking for.

You may find all three of your "musts" hard to fulfill. Short term rentals fully furnished with all your needs are few in the best of times, and your time is during a holiday period. Also, I think you will need to find a place that is more than a ten minute walk in order to have the complete tranquility you want. You may have to compromise on more than one thing.

Thanks Bonnie, I think I've found what I need, meeting almost every listed requirement. I've been to Boquete before, so I had some idea of what I might expect. I look forward to my return to just chill out, but also to offer free English lessons in collaboration with the Boquete recycling committee. Another goal is to improve my Spanish by continuing with lessons of my own. I hope to do this at the library. If you know anyone interested in helping me get this off the ground by mid to end November, I would welcome the additional input. Cheers!

If budget is not your main concern, you may want to try Hotel El Oasis - it fits most of your requirements.  The housing rental market is extremely tight right not and will be worse in December, so book anything that you like right away.
