Hello , I am Panamanian Attorney named Cristo Markou, I have experience in Immigration and Litigation.
Please contact me by whatssapp: +507 6216-8793 or by email: cristomarkou@gmail.com.
Have been using Dr. Angulo for 15 years and he is the only one I would trust. His staff is excelent also.
All the old timers use him.
I have talked with several people who have used Monica Isaza and she is out of David. She is very good and hand holds her clients. A friend of mine used her and had no issues at all. In fact she worked on getting all of the paperwork for my friend who started the process here in Panama. The longest wait was for the FBI background check. She usually files all of the papers in the David Immigration office without a hassle. Then, as with any attny, you have to go to PC in three or four months to get your permanent card.
Lourdes Miranda. Office is in Boquete www.lawandrealty.com. I brought her my paper work and in a week I had my temporary visa, now I have my cedula. She and her staff are fast, efficient and nice.
By the way... typically a local lawyer here will just pass the whole file to a REAL IMMIGRATION ATTY. in Panama City.... after taking their cut of course. ...
PTY Attorneys in Panama. Ask for Tanya. Fast, reliable and they are right there.
Oh you know I'm joking a round, ethics classes are zero credit elective courses which is in sane.
Penny,
You forgot one thing Penny, they are not required to complete any classes in ethics unlike in the first world.

There are no decent lawyers in Panama... not one! So when you deal with a lawyer here... remember to cover yourself at every turn as if you were dealing with a charlatan. There are plenty of nice ones but they are incompetent. You CAN muddle through and get things done but make sure you try to do as much as you can by yourself and check their work over 3 times.... then cross your fingers. Just assume any lawyer in Panama is incompetent or worse when you deal with them and you will be much safer. But deal with them you must. I think every Panamanian thinks the same way about their Legal Eagles... they just don't get rid of the bad eggs like they do in other countries. I hope my lawyer isn't reading this... ... lol
