TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT ESPECIALLY IF THE OFFENDING MEMBERS LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE REPUBLIC OF PANAMA AND HAS NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE TO ADD.

  First time here since I posted this - thanks I am glad I did.
  
  I welcome a new moderator and hope to see a change - for the good of the community and those who may find this site as part of their due diligence in considering a move here.
  
  In reality, prior to moving here, I followed several forums but never engaged because there was always the "one" that was so offensive, that I decided that observing was better.
  
  Well I am here and have been for over 5 years. I guess I just don't remember as many obnoxious posts as I do now.
  
  I am guilty of being outspoken at times a few years ago, BUT there was a good reason that involved the community I love and something I was passionate about and still am - no hidden agenda here. However, I have moved on! Life is too short to live in the past!
  
  As a result, the forums didn't make or break our decision so at the end of the day whatever!
  
  I just offer my support now in making this a place to support the community and others - if that isn't appreciated? It's OK - there's a whole world out there!

    Val, Liz lives in the community, is American & Panamanian. She writes & speaks perfect English & Spanish. I am told the forum is going to to have a few options too. Lets see. the good news is I can go back to my regular job that pays me. ha ha!

      It is not easy to moderate a site unless you are given clear guidelines as to what should be tolerated and what should not.
      
      Most companies dealing with communications services have those standards and guidelines.
      
      Let's hope the new Boquete.Ning will provide their standards and guidelines to Liz.

Agreed Val, I tried to post some useful information on this site recently and was lambasted by one of the moderators who then closed the discussion simply because it was contrary to their present opinion. I guess they realized that I was about to post a previous comment by them that was totally inline with what I was saying. Wow, got some real control freaks here.

We encourage all members to use the forum often for everyone's benefit and enjoyment. ( Any forum post that attacks or is hurtful to any member or group of members will be deleted and the member will be terminated ).

Any community member can contribute as they like and will. The forum is for members not anyone associated or employed by Ning, YOU, the members control the posts. Some will like some posts, some will not, it is life in all things. It is very hard to satisfy a majority and we do not watch the forum everyday.

Instead of criticizing the forum why not put quality posts on Ning that interest members. That is what readers really want.

  Ambreen, I have seen numerous missed opportunities to take the action above. And you contradict yourself by then saying any member can contribute as they like. The members look to the moderators for direction. You must be consistent. The forum either has rules that are enforced or is a free for all. Which is it?
  Also, I've lived here for many years and know many of the people who are ning members. There is a large number who refuse to "put quality posts on ning" for fear of being caught up in some of the childish antics being displayed.
