If anyone has any knowledge of the poster stolen and taken down please come forward. It cost the families of Kris and Lissane a great deal of money and it is their property which they talked about using in a memorial. Kris' parents will be here tomorrow and were planning to recover the sign.

We were running errands in Alto Boquete on Friday morning, July 25th. As we came down the hill at approximately 10:15am, into Bajo Boquete across from the Kotowa Visitor Center, we witnessed 3 men climbing up the hill and removing the poster.
I remember thinking how big the poster really was (when compared with the height of a man), and how high up it was on the hill (not a task for the faint of heart). As I recall, there were two men up on the hill (one on either side of the poster), and one standing below on the street level. I don't recall seeing a car in the vicinity. I couldn't pick the men out of a line-up. From what I recall, the men were dressed in regular "street clothes", not in any type of "uniform". I knew that the Kremers were returning to Boquete and thought the removal was based on their decision to take the poster down. I'm sorry I didn't shoot you an email to this effect on Friday, when we noticed the occurrence.
Have you reported this incident to AaC or the police? What would someone want with a poster about the girls (except, maybe, use it as a tarp of sorts because of the nature of the material.)
I'm so sorry this has happened and you now need to launch an investigation into the poster's disappearance. May it be found in one piece and returned to the Kremers as quickly as possible.
