This is to let the public know that the owner of the property in Palmira commonly known as LA JUNGLA is a Panamanian Corporation which is owned by my husband, Scott, and me. We bought the property from Gordon and Rachel Brown in 2009. We have owned the property continuously for the past 5 years. We have heard that our tenant has told people she bought the property and that she was the owner, but this is not true. A check of the Public Registry shows who are the legal owners of the "La Jungla" property, which includes all the structures on approximately 6,400 meters of property in Palmira Centro. We learned today that someone has put a for rent/FOR SALE sign on our restaurant property in Palmira. This is to advise anyone interested in the property that we, the real owners, did not place this sign on our property. Please note the picture that a concerned person sent to us this morning. Although OWN BOQUETE's for sale sign has been torn down, we do actually have the property listed for sale with OWN BOQUETE Realty, phone number 720-2506. This is to advise all realtors and prospective property buyers in the Boquete area that our property in Palmira, known as LA JUNGLA, is no longer for sale. The property listing agreement with Own Boquete realty has been cancelled by mutual agreement today and the property will no longer be offered by sale. Any advertisment or sign offering our property for sale is NOT from us or authorized by us, the real owners of the property. Again, to be clear, my husband, Scott, and I still own the property, but we are not looking for a buyer. Furthermore, we do not wish to accept any responsbility for commercial or other activities that may take place on the property.

This dog is who started ARF. Phyfer and Viego were taken from there. I took them home, treated tick fever and put them on a healthy path. They were both adopted together. They got the best home ever.
I do agree that maybe we can all do something positive to help animals in our area in the future, be it with ARF or at facility that is not flush with money. An extra bag of dog food or a bunch of bananas dropped off may be a step in the right direction. Even a bowl of food for a street dog is a simple act of kindness that will go a long way.
If some animals are rehabilitated and can be released back to the wild "perfect", we can personally help facilitate their release in two locations.
Educational programs at the schools can teach families how to properly care for an animals.
I am ever so sorry, Steven. I realize how frustrating it must be to lose trust in people who we think have our best intentions. People always need to be outspoken when they see, or know for certain that something so obviously blatant is going on, at the least, for the sake of innocent animals.
I have been asked to remove this post as defamatory. I am not going to do that unless the person making the request provides proof that the claim made by Belinda and Scott is false. Since they are the owners on record of the property they have a legal right to state what they have stated.
How is it possible for someone to claim that a statement is defamatory against them, when the meaning of defame is to damage one's good reputation?!

Everyone needs to know this ..But .. This story .. Palmira La Jungla ... I can not commit on because I do not know the facts.
However, EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT THEIR ARE >> LIAR, SCAMMERS and CROOKS among us !!!!
Not all the animals have been removed;we are not allowed to go on the property to do this.
We advised the tenant in February that she was in violation of the terms of our contract . According to the terms of our agreement she had 5 days to correct the deficiences. Five months have past and still the violations of the contract have not been corrected. We also offered to help the tenant with free housing which she did not accept. At this point legal eviction process is underway.
