Try El Campion downtown David. I have had some luck there. If you don't want to drive downtown ( I didn't for a long time). Just catch a cab at Rey and for $2 you are downtown.
I have been looking for two years. I saw a couple in Novey once. In Panama City there is much better variety. That is on my list for the next shopping Trip.

There is a store in David that does custom furniture pine (think Ikea) and lamps. They will sell lampshades (pantellas).
The owner speaks excellent british english.

Here is what you do;
Find a lamp shade you like on a lamp at a store and throw the lamp away.
