3 weeks ago, spent the day( not the night) at Las Lajas Beach Resort ,for $10.70. They furnish a towel and use of the pool, outside shower, restrooms, hammocks, chairs & thatched huts as well as use of the restaurant. Pretty nice with a good menu. The beach goes on forever.
I have been wondering about pitching a tent and camping there. Do you stay at one of the places close to the resort....the ones that have the little huts where you can park your car and they charge $5 per day??
Also...does the tide come up all the way to the huts?
d'oh, i just saw this. sometimes the tide comes up pretty far-- when the tide is very high. consult a tide chart and plan accordingly. i just go wherever i feel like (you can drive down the beach)... it goes on for miles.

The discussion is about Las Lajas..
You can pick up a copy at the Tuesday Market.
Buena suerte.
Google Las Lajas Beach resort
Not a hostel but B&B Casa Laguna

I go out there and camp all the time, never had a problem (stay higher than the high tide, of course)
