We have four official languages in CH, plus just about everybody speaks English passably well. I guess one has to widen his horizon about to wrap ones mind around that. I think the Republicans must keep their powder dry for the battles ahead. Trump, as fast as he is moving, needs to get the GOP Congress to move even faster. Trump now has the important parts of his Cabinet in place and must go as fast as he can on Obamacare. Obamacare is the line in the sand for the Democrats. Let's hope their Red lines are as strong as Obama's were.
The GOP Congress shows their ineptness by not having had a plan in place for Obamacare day one after 7 years of planning. Trump needs to continually whip the GOP horses. The Old Guard Press as we have known it is finished. There is no country in the world that treats the Press as the US does. The institution of Free Press needs to be respected but kept away from the White House, Airforce One, Special deals at Press Conferences, etc. Opening up Press conferences to Skype, and new emerging sources for news like Breitbart, Politico, Huffington Post, Drudge, etc. diminishes the Established Liberal Press's power and puts them into a position they should have been in all along... reporting the news rather than controlling it. I believe a lot of the Liberal Press Cabal was created during the time of the 3 major TV networks dominance. They needed to get approval from the government regularly to maintain their broadcast licenses. As a result, over the years a cozy quid pro quo was developed which has turned the major networks and their newspaper associates into a corrupt and dishonest syndicate. They are dying but still dangerous. Due to the internet, TV has lost its power as seen by the last election. This will affect their advertising incomes as well. Newspapers like the NY Times are on the verge of bankruptcy due to their archaic business plans. They are fighting for their existance which makes them dangerous.
If the GOP can quicken their pace and replace Obamacare, start building the Wall, increase business ergo jobs, lower taxes and regulations,get the economy thrumming again.... they will be successful.
The liberals will do everything in their power to throw sand into the cog wheels of the GOP juggernaut but if these accomplishments are made despite all this, it will end up being a rout against the Democrats and their power will be diminished for decades. Their obstructionism will be viewed in an ugly light if Trump is successful. The Democrats can complain and be crazy all that they want but the GOP has to quicken their pace like Sugar Ray Leonard when he had an opponent on the ropes. The Democrats, putting in an old Obama/Clinton regular to run the DNC will help the GOP. Steve Bannon is a talented political general and should be able to take advantage of the appointment. The next 60 days will tell it all.
