I am in search of a good current Panama or Chiriqui road map or atlas. I have googled my fingers soar and cannot find a map, atlas or travel guide that is less than 7 years old so newer roads don't show up. Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks
John

John,
I have found "google earth" to be the best. Just zoom in on the area you need and print. Google Earth is a free download. You can insert place markers on the maps and name them also. You can choose the items you'd like shown on the map also like; hotels, gas stations, eateries, parks, highways.

The place you can find the most updated maps of Panama at different scales is the Instituto Geografico Nacional Tommy Guardia. http://ignpanama.anati.gob.pa/
Unfortunately they don't have versions online. Only hard copies for the use of students, scientist, contractors, etc.

I would suggest a Garmin with this map loaded on it for Panama City especially. He upgrades it all the time, hopefully it's good for Chiriquí....ask him.
Not many that I could find other than on the Internet
