In the past I wrote restaurant reviews in Boquete Guide based upon one visit, I was wrong to do so and I stopped. Even the best restaurant has bad days and occasional bad service. I now only right a review after three or more visits. I also have learned that if I have nothing good to say, to say nothing at all. I have my opinions and they are mine if they are positive I share them, negative and I am mute.

May I chime in? Generally speaking, I agree with the post by Twin Wolf pertaining to "Noticias" -- the new site seems ideally suited to exactly what the name implies, and I believe it will be an exciting resource for crisp reporting about what is to be realized "on the ground" in Chiriqui.
Everyone knows that I've never been bashful when it comes to flapping my gums, but as a bereft and reluctant outsider, I believe that my own whimsical observations are best saved for *ning, where the community of posters and participants knows to accept or reject my peculiar blatherings with a grain of salt ...
From time-to-time, occurances back up here in the "real world" may be germane to the expat community; if it so seems, perhaps I'll be able to add a positive contribution over on the "new kid".
In the mean time, not to be overly redundent in the department of redundency department, always remember as you gaze up, agape, into the splendiferousness of each new day, beware of the low-flying aricaris ....

Thank you for all the positive. I am thinking of NoticiasChiriqui as a local CNN I report, a people's newspaper. Newspapers have opinions as well as news. I do understand the dangers of opinions which is why I do currently reserve the right to edit and omit posts. I would hope any reviewer of anything would also do as I suggested, visit multiple times before writing. THe need for reviews is there, Trip advisor has a good model, people here can write a review and others can add their comments and experiences too.
Eating is always a sacrifice! :)
