Does anyone know if they have a repair technician yet? Over clock charges $50 no matter how small the problem. In my world that is just too much, given the time involved in diagnosing and even repairing many problems. $50 is a lot for those of us living on social security. I guess they assume anyone with a Mac has money.

I was at the MAC store last week due to a problem I had. No there is no technician at the office yet. Supposedly one is in training in PC or the states. and will be here soon. I did tell them that I had read the same story from Gwen in june and that you guys had someone in training at that time. I don't believe anyone is in training. They just tell you what you want to hear and keep on smiling. Might help to pressure them and get personal with them.
Check with Don Ray at http://www.chiriquichatter.net/blog/ He probably can direct you to a good Mac technician.
You could post your problem in the Mac group here and see if there anybody can help.
It's usually true that if you buy an expensive device you'll need to pay a bit more to have it fixed.
