Just this afternoon I saw a couple of careless smokers with machetes and a bottle of what appeared to be gasoline tending a burning field across the highway from Casa Hogar Trisker.

The funny superstition about the hot-cold thing is, I work with people here that will cover up in the hot sun in black clothing and yet not drink water all day doing constuction, hot as hell down in elevation, then go home and take a cold shower and drink ice cold beers after.

I was working in Los Molinos on a job and it was HOT! After work I went to the pool and jumped in. It brought my core body temp down very fast. The guys I was working with thought I was crazy. I didnt get sick after.
