NEED FLEXIBLE STRAWS

I have looked many places including a hospital pharmacy, Arrocha, and grocery stores

and cannot find flexible, bendable drinking straws (los caritos) for a debilitated person.  Has anyone

seen them in Panama?  When I ask for them, the store personnel look at me as if I were

asking for a strange thing.   Am I using the wrong word?

I saw them today at Romeros.  they were on the side of end shelf unit near the front of the store.

Saw 2 options in Reys today one bag of mixed colours for around $3 or the bag of black ones for around $7. I think there were 500 in the black ones.both were in the liquor section.

Carol, you're right.  The 100 per bag multicolor ones were $2.25 and the black 500 count bag was $7.10, plus tax of course.  But you save $4.06 by buying the big bag, so I thought it was worth it even thought they were black. ;o)

I looked everywhere for these and never found them.  I finally brought some from the states.  One poster says Rey has them in the liquor department.  That's good to know.  If you find them there, please let us know.

I have a re-usable one that came with a plastic water bottle.  You are welcome to have it.  Call me at 6517-3921.

JOANNE LASHUA FOUND THEM IN EL REY!  They were in the liqour dept

and they are black.  I am just so grateful to have some.  I hope all who need them

can get them before they are gone.

Its been a few months but I bought some in Rey in the liquer section. They were red in a plastic bag. Good luck!
