Many of you might know that I am raising a Howler monkey named Boomer. He lost his mother shortly after he was born and brought to me to raise.
I am leaving Panama for a few weeks and need someone to fill my spot in his life. He is with me full time. I diaper him and feed him. He sleeps with me and is really a joy to have around. I will supply you with the food and diapers etc for the time that I am gone.
I am trying to get the paper work to take him with me but in the event that it does not work out I would love to have a backup plan.
My cell phone is 64669530
Perhaps if someone might have a contact number for a preserve who might want to take Boomer that would be very helpful.

He is 5 months old but I may already have a person

Having been attacked twice by someone's "pet" monkey here in Panama... one never knows how a wild animal is going to react, especially if experiencing separation anxiety. Just a note of caution, both to the owner and the potential care-giver. The best option may be a nature preserve... though I don't know of any to recommend, hopefully someone else here can provide some info. Good luck! ... Not trying to be negative here, just realistic.
I once had a anthropology professor who opined; "the further up the evolutionary chain of primates you go, the more violent and aggressive they become".
That comment reminds me of a poster I saw that depicted a frog staring at a figure in a business suite with a skull head holding a control box with one hand and pushing the button with the other and a mushroom cloud comes out of the top of the skull. The caption read, "Man demonstrating his superiority over animals".
