Either I am getting to be an old timer(stuck in my ways - not ruling that out), or the construction of the new mall, houses, demos/rebuilds downtown - every time I go, something has changed. Where are the people coming from to make David turn into a major city?
TBD but with growth brings some good. I was there today and there is a growing middle class of Panamanians - no doubt. Tomorrow is Payday but people spending money today? I may be overlooking something.
Concerned about all the growth. The traffic already stinks but I saw people using their turn signals today - amazing! Infrastrure issues, crime increase, etc. - all a little concerning as well.
THAT should attract a lot of visitors!
:-)
More big money comin into Taxitown.......incredible.....fastest growing city in Central America......It amazes me what huge corporations see that I dont see.......Hopefully some of this new big tax money will go to city asthetics and infrastructure instead of just more malls..........and bigger hospitals to cater to the increasingly sick population........
