I know this question has been beaten to death in one form or another, but here is my specific query. I have just renewed my passport and went down to immigration in David and had the Registrado/Traspaso stamp put in my new passport. I only have a Jubilado visa, not a Cedula. My Panamanian driving license needs renewing in November, and I have read that I have to go to the immigration office before it can be renewed. What is it that they want besides the new stamp. What do I need to take where? Thanks in advance.

Take your old and new passports with you when you renew your drivers license. They will put your new passport number on your license, but will want to see the old passport. Since you had your new passport stamped at Migracion, you don't have to go there again.
Perfect! Thank you!
Something else I just thought of, does my new passport affect my jubilado card? Do I have to go somewhere to update that number?
No.
Thank you. And what about the other question above - if the car is in my husband's name only?
"if the car is in my husband's name only?"
Paperwork for his car has no bearing on your situation, Maureen
Thanks, Keith. If you charged for your advice, you would be a rich man!
Keith,
I assume I need to change the number on my titles with my new passport number before I can sell them? My car plate is current, but my moto is expired.
No.
My experience is you also need an original jubilado card, when you got to David to get a new DL. I lost my original, and they won't accept a copy.
