Yes, it is an insult. You have no class, Fran, and it gets worse and worse as the years go by. Why don't you just own it? You are generally a rude and condescending know-it-all.

BTW...The "search" function on this site is useless unless you have hours to pore through pages and pages of irrelevant posts.

Your reply and Richard's was an insulting and highly disrespectful! Your holier than though attitude along with several others is one of the reason many will not even post on here cause they don't want to be ridiculed and abused. If you have nothing positive to say then don't say anything -- you already know what the post is about so why open it? Just so you can be rude and obnoxious and think yourself funny by posting your stupid pictures!! 

You have no idea of the posters computer knowledge and abilities. 

Many people ignore the search function because it is crap! Even if you use it there is no organization to the search results and your first result is just as likely to be from 2011 as it is from 2015. If you don't to help people then don't open the posts. I can't count how many times people have answered the same questions asked over and over -- it may take a few more minutes to be helpful and nice than it does to just be an ass.

Dennis, you hit the nail right on the head. This Lady was seeking information and all she got  was abuse and scorn from the "know it all" bullies. If the solution to the crappy Search function is to use Google Search then why not just get rid of the Ning Search function so people can't be criticized for not using it. The person recommended can notarize some documents but not all documents. Some documents require a trip to the U.S. Embassy to be notarized. Margie, I'm sorry for the behavior of some on this Ning site by posting insulting cartoons as if you are supposed to know what to do. I want to learn how to ballroom dance! I am the Director of a Native American Indian School serving 760 children K-12. I am retiring later this year and plan on living in Boquete. I have visited several times and each time was more impressed. I am looking for a small furnished house in town for a long term lease. Any leads?

If you are using a smart phone you have to go to desk top view in order to find the search button . Many times Ning is a little more involved for the many people who are using phones

Sometimes it is easier to search ning by using Google.  The ning search tool isn't very good.  It misses some relevant posts and brings up irrelevant ones.  I sometimes find boquete.ning topics better by searching them through Google.

The notary information has not changed, so it doesn't matter if it is from 2012 and 2014 (2014 is considered old?).

Just an FYI. I have used the search many times, and again, in all this discussion, I checked again under "notary" and "notary in Boquete" just to see what our friend might find. What I usually find, and did again this morning, is that the information is old. There are answers, yes, but from 2012 and 2014. Things do change here rapidly, so always checking the ning is not always the best resource for current information. Is there a way to clear out old information, or incorrect information?

Well its right in the opening disclaimer:

Its no big thing, yet may be quicker and easier for finding answers, IMO.
