Some folks picked theirs up at the BCP Saturday morning, but I still have a lot of cards remaining.

On Tuesday I'll be available "SOMEWHERE" during the the Tuesday market, but I don't know where. I'll wear a red shirt and will have a batch of cards with me. If I can find a stationary spot, I'll tape up a "Medical Plan Cards" sign.

You will be given two cards. One is a wallet-size card to carry with you. The other is a payment card that shows that you have paid for one year. You can just tuck that one in a drawer with your passport until next year. The doctors, the pharmacy and other places at the hospital where charges are incurred will have lists of AAC members who have paid by the year with which to verify your card.

We suggest that it would be a good idea make an appointment with an internal medicine doctor, get to know him or her and provide information about your medical conditions and the medicines you take. Then, if you need to see the doctor when you are sick, he or she will already know you and a little about you.

Most of the doctors charge $30 or $35 for a visit.

I have a comprehensive list of specialties, doctors, other licensed professionals, fees and general office hour schedules. I need to re-format it and put it in larger, more readable type so that geezers can read it. When it is finished, I'll post it on Boquete.ning and Chiriqui.life
