Does anyone know of a good psychiatrist in the David area who speaks fluent English? We think my sister is going to need some help getting over the trauma from all the surgeries and the slow recovery.
She is progressing physically, but is experiencing deep depression and is terribly discouraged.

That is cruel and not funny. As S.L. Miller-m says, OMG! Why would you make a joke of Cynthia's situation? Is that cranky? I hope so. A comment like that makes me sick.
Dr. Aguilar at Mae Lewis is far and away the best psychiatrist I've encountered, despite many years as a psychotherapist myself. He is more a pharmacologist than a psychotherapist, is extremely up to date, even on medications that aren't even available in Panama, and speaks quite good English. He also works by appointment, unlike many of our Panamanian doctors. You can reach his secretary sometime after 11: in the morning, as he doesn't start office hours until 3: or 3:30. I wish your sister all the best.
