I have had good luck buying on ebay for delivery in Panama. Make sure you put your cell number on the address even though there is not a specific space for it. I use Dolega 0432 as the address and nearly always have to pick it up in David. Shipping is sometimes free and it has always gotten here. It might be slow so wait and hope you get a phone call, Dolega may get a slip or lastly check in David. I am talking months sometimes. I have used this for electronic parts, 12 volt led's and iPhone parts. This has been working for several years and at first some small padded envelopes made it to Dolega. I am posting this as a way to disperse useful info only.

It is a good chance to talk with the manager at the Postal Office or Correos Nacionales de Boquete and ask for this service in this branch.
I bought a $2.50 plastic cover for the screen of my tablet. It was delivered free from China, and it got here quickly. Good so far right? But the David p.o. customs office held it up in David instead of sending it to Boquete. I had to go to the David p.o. and wait for about an hour for them to get around to looking at it. It was just a flat piece of plastic. They charged me 10 cents for one day storage, then let it go. What a hassle. I'll never order anything direct to Panama again.
My experience in 2011 is at this post.
