On Sunday January 7th, Boquete Recicla Reduce Reutiliza (Boquete RRR) will be holding a ONE day recycling rally at Alto Boquete´s old slaughter house. starting at 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
You may take ALL your recycling materials for this ONE day. Below is a list of the items we will be receiving. ….Sorted and clean please.
Plastic containers, chairs, etc. (soda, juices, etc. Please separate the caps and Please put them in a SEPARATE bag for each category of plastic. Thanks!
ALL Glass bottles any color!!! *do not separate by color
Plastic bags and sacks (like grocery bags)
All types of cans and iron
Cardboard *Paper* Tetra Pak (plasticized cardboard carton for milk and other drinks)
All types of batteries!!!!
Books, magazines, directories, notebooks
Take the “first left turn” after Cefati (Tourist Center at the top of the hill when exiting Boquete toward David).This is NOT a permenant new location for recycling. Its JUSTfor Sunday January 7th.

Why didn't you say in your News Boquete notice that it was only 1 day? You said BEGINNING Jan. 7, implying this would be ongoing. You said nothing about it being only 1 day. A lot of people are going to be disappointed when they show up on Jan. 8.

The Panamanian Recycle Center is open for business. They have a New Banner out front naming what they take in to recycle. I took plastic there yesterday. I don't know why someone is trying to compete with this family. These people are trying to make a living recycling. They need the business. One day once in a while for recycling serves no purpose. I think it's a bad idea to force competition on this family.
