Anybody know a good Panama Lawyer to use for my Pension Residency application? What all do I need to bring with me as far as Paperwork? I am 100% disabled veteran does the VA's letter of Disability count as proof of lifetime income? I have a letter from the DEPT> OF VA stating I am Totally and Permanently disabled. THANKS GEORGE.

My FBI report was required - unfortunately I went to Costa Rica AFTER I got the report so the migration papers had to be filed in Panama City instead of David. My lawyers knew that and it was very easy. Both Juan and Lourdes and their staff speak English.
Congratulations Linda! Happy this is done - now go enjoy the beach.

We used Erik Quintero, in town near San Francisco. We have recommended him to others and they are very happy as well. We were so pleased that we also used him for our E-cedula and our corporation. Best part is that he gets back to you immediately. 6649 8040
Hello George,
You are certainly doing the right thing by starting the process while you are in the US.
If you use the search feature (upper right, white box) you will find many recommendations. Be careful because some of the information may be out of date. For example, Panama' no longer accepts local or State background checks. You must have the US FBI fingerprint card and background check. I could be wrong, but it is my understanding that this can only be done while you are in the US.
We used Juan Aguilera, aguilerafranceschi.law@gmail.com, 011-507-775-4976 . He has offices in David and Boquete. Excellent English and very comfortable using email. He has an associate in Panama City to guide you through the final process. One member of his firm in the David office specializes in immigration and is excellent.
Welcome to Panama'
Do you know how long will my US FBI fingerprint card and background check will be good. If its completed in October and I don't come until December to Panama is there a restriction on time limits? Can I get the card at the US EMBASSY IN PANAMA?
Best to ask your lawyer when you select one. The normal rule in Panama is 90 days but your experience may be different
We also had excellent results with Juan - definitely recommend him.
