I heard yesterday that Chinese people are taking over Baru. Surely prices will go down as they usually employ their whole family. I will ask Arthuro the owner.

I certainly hope that prices will go down! They’ve become ridiculously high in the past couple of years without an accompanying uptick in food and service. I I don’t go there anymore, and when I walk by, I rarely see any expats there. Only tourists.
They stopped taking credit cards about 3 months ago. Visa a.o. are charging these type of business 4-5% commission. I agree service is slow. In the weekends they had many guests from David. But with the high prices they turned their backs. We go now to JF behind Mike's.
Happy hour daily from 2.30. Glass of wine $ 2 net.

We also stopped going to Baru, primarily because of poor service. I don't think the current owners ever realized how bad it really is.
