Permalink Reply by bajareque becky on August 22, 2012 at 9:36am keith, don and i had lunch at willhouse (taxista called it "willy's). seemed new. liked the food and presentation. they had zero beer of any kind, that why i think they had opened recently. my lunch was really good, lengua. don had churassco, was a little tough. not typico for sure, served with fresh salad and baked potato . alot of food, but a nice change. have been to quatro, it was awesome. great service.
Permalink Reply by Gabrielle Arboleda on August 22, 2012 at 11:52am I was in Boquete two weeks ago and we ate two nights in a row at the PANAMONTE. It is pricy but the food is one of the best I have ever had. And the place is beautiful. It is one of those spots you take someone on a special day or date.
Permalink Reply by Lyn B. on August 22, 2012 at 9:13pm Cuatro is my favorite "special" place to eat in David, either for lunch or dinner. The service is excellent, and the food is creative and inspired. The story I heard is that the chef worked and trained in NYC and then brought his skills back home to work magic with the local Chiriqui fare. My only complaint is the last few meals there I felt they were a little heavy handed with the salt shaker.
Permalink Reply by Keith Woolford on August 22, 2012 at 9:21pm I like Cuatro too, but was wondering if anyone had tried these other places. (I hear ya about the salt, common practice)
