There are a dozen shops in David where they do Revisado inspections, usually around $17. The only ones that charge about $11 are Felipe Rodriguez and I believe, Ivesur. Being able to obtain the Inspection in Boquete is a great alternative and a winner for the businessman, who also happens to be the Vice-Alcalde.

Isn't Tambor the one that tried to scam Bonnie W for hundreds of dollars of repairs?

If I understand right, they did not try to scam the owner, they found a problem with the car. So that said, they told the owner what he needed and gave him a price. Yes the price was high , but that was" there" price. So the owner took the car to another place and got a better price, good for him. Just because Tambor was higher does not mean they where trying to scam the owner. Phil...
As I understand it, there are two places in David. The 11 dollar place is very popular and extremely busy. The other was the option I chose is about two blocks off the Pan Am hwy just a block past where one turns off to go to the airport. It cost 20 dollars but is very fast because it is not as busy. I was in and out of there in approx 20 mins. and I had two people in front of me. I am happy Quick Fix does it now. For me it saves time and money.

Finally! They were supposed to start back in August. And you're right Judy, at least you don't have to drive down the hill anymore.

Yep.
Its the shop where Franklin used to be, across from Los Establos Plaza.
That's good news, except they are overcharging. It is supposed to cost $11. At least it saves a drive to David.
