A friend is coming to the Boquete/ David/ Volcan area to check out the area and would like to get 2 root canals done while he is here. It is $1500 per root canal in Texas and he is hoping he can get it done a lot cheaper here.
Who would you recommend for root canals?

Perhaps you ought to ask about people's views on Dr. Mercola.
Have any of you had a crown done in Boquete? My wife needs two done and we are considering waiting until we get to Boquete in June. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Are you moving or visiting? I ask because a crown I got recently required three separate visits over a period of several weeks. Crowns generally cost $400 to $500 here.
thanks for responding Bonnie. We are moving to Boquete in June. If you have more information on your dentist and experience we would love to hear back.
We use Dra. Monica Sanjur in downtown Boquete and have been satisfied with her work.
Pensionado, living here in Paradise ALA Boquete I have at least 2 or more visits left to repair the broken tooth before they can start process for the crown.
Lee thanks you came to my help again, I cracked a tooth in Santiago Dec 5th and had a temp repair done by a Dentist in Santiago and ran home monday to see Dr. Luz in Boquete. She made an appointment with her “Specialist” Dec 11th (day before my Birthday). I saw her “Specialist” at 9:30 and he explained the process to try and save the tooth; a root canal being one of the steps in the process…. I was reluctant to commit… then I asked his name….Dr. Juan Carlos Ortiz with you praise of him I had my “Root Canal” done that afternoon in Dr. Luz’s office here in Boquete. Great Hands and and very processional…Cost was $250
