If there is any SHARP Cheddar Cheese in those coolers at PriceSmart I sure couldn't find it today. NO block cheeses in fact. Closest thing were bags of shredded cheddar and mozzarella.

Its a good thing. It displays that people are searching the forum and posting in the appropriate places/topics rather than starting new threads about things that have been addressed in the past.
It shows that the members in this forum have some discipline and ability to conduct due diligence.
Not to mention relative newbies like myself are privileged to discover posts that are old to others yet new to me. Cheers!
I posted this because this is the first time in a while that I've seen true extra sharp cheddar and I know there are those who would appreciate knowing it's in stock.
Saw this on a Facebook post. Someone complaining about high prices in South Carolina, USA. This is mild cheddar at 30.1 cents per ounce. Curious how this compares here....anyone know? Ok, picture will not post on my Ipad, but it is Sargento mild cheddar bite-size chunks, at 30.1 cents per ounce with total price of this family size package $9.64.
I must strongly advise all my fellow ningcompoops to avoid sharp cheddar cheese. Strong flavors have been proven to increase basic biological urges and are 17% more likely to cause foodie-types to spout-off useless statistics. Scientific experts recommend a diet of bland foods; sharp cheddars are contraindicated and it is a much safer bet to stick with dull cheddar.
It is no surprise that Mr. Woolford started this thread way back when. I consider it to be further proof that those wily Canadians have a fell agenda of world domination, and there are strong indicators that the Overlords have conspired to encourage people from the Frozen Wastelands to eat spicy foods to help make them more aggressive.
If you insist upon sharp cheddar, remember: NEVER RUN WITH SHARP CHEDDAR! Always handle with care.
