We're about to relocate to Boquete from the States quite soon, and needing to ship a few packages of miscellaneous personal items to ourselves that're too cumbersome to pack into our luggage. Seeking recommendations on best ways to complete such shipping ... realizing that delivery to homes (like by UPS or DHL) isn't done there like we're used to in the States. Total of perhaps three or four packages measuring approximately 12" x 12" x 16" each, and weighing perhaps six or eight pounds apiece.

We tried to follow the link you gave, but it only came up in Spanish ... which we don't yet read. When we clicked on the button for English, we got an error message telling us there was a fatal flaw. Apparently we aren't going to get to see the site in English ....
Google Translate is your friend.
Really? How does that work?
Copy the language you want translated. Open a new page and enter "google translate" in the Search box. When it comes up, paste the copied language where it says to.
Depending on the airline that you are using, you could take it as extra baggage. Generally less expensive than shippers. The holiday package restriction ended in January so, you should be able to carry extra luggage.
Call your airline and shippers to compare costs
