Hi, has anyone had great luck with using a Slingbox from the states or Canada to watch TV?
Have had 6 days of trouble with USTVNOW and there does not seem to be a solution so am thinking of installing a sling box in Canada so we can watch TV here. Used one a long time ago at Las Olas when the internet was not very good.
Thanks in advance for your help! ruby mckenzie email valjala2005@yahoo.com or phone 6671-3021

I had a sling box but sold it and now use Belkin's @ TV which works better than the Sling especially if your bandwidth is limited.

Ruby,
We also have a slingbox from the US. It works exactly as advertised. Once in a while one needs to have it reset on the US end.
While here in Panama, do you use your iPad or other device to hook up to the TV via HDMI so you can watch on TV here or do you just watch TV on your computer? It seems in Las Olas that we somehow hooked up our laptop to the TV so we could watch it on the TV instead of the laptop. That was way before HDMI cables however. If I remember correctly, wwe logged into our slingbox account and then we could see what TV programs were on? I do not remember exactly how it worked. ruby
Sling has an iPad app
